Museum MORE will show a new, intimate presentation called THE GREAT ESCAPE in their cabinet, featuring a selection
from the series The Romantic Escape, curated by curator Julia Dijkstra.The presentation runs from 21.09.2024 - 30.03.2025.

Museum MORE opened it's doors for the public with the openings exhibition 'Scherp kijken' which will show some of my work.
Museum MORE is the largest museum for Dutch Modern Realism. It houses the collection that is owned by Hans Melchers, containing works by leading Dutch realist artsis of the past 100 years.The collection is a significant part of the Dutch national cultural heritage.
Museum MORE has prime pieces bij Carel Willink, Jan Mankes, Pyke Koch, Dick Ket, Raoul Hynckes, Charley Toorop and Wim Schumacher. Their body of work is related to that of other artists who mixed fiction and reality, amongst those Giorgio de Chirico, Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte, Paul Delvaux, Edward Hopper, George Tooker, Alexander Kanoldt, Otto Dix and George Grosz.
The current exhibition "Sharp Focus" shows a selection of over 200 works out of the 1300 works owned by the museum.
The MORE building in Gorssel was designed by the celebrated Dutch architect Hans van Heeswijk, who was also responsible for the reconstruction of the Van Gogh Museum and the Hermitage in Amsterdam, the Mauritshuis in the Hague. In 2016/2017 MORE will open a second location in Castle Ruurlo. Both buildings are located in the east of the Netherlands.

LIBERTINE GALLERY PRESENTS “FROM BLACK SHADES INTO BLUE.”

Thursday the 16th of April you can find Lotta & Dimitri Krul live at Libertine Gallery. Get together with live performance on 16th April 19.00 – 22.00u / Prinsengracht 715.
After a spectacular opening in collaboration with fashion label Laundry Industry & the Park Hotel, 'The Romantic Escape' will be (partly) exhibited at the Gallery Zone in the Park Hotel until March 26th, 2015. You can walk in any time you like to have a look. You can also enjoy something nice to drink & eat with excellent service.
From 16 oktober until 28 november 2014 the show 'I am not doing anything until I feel the need' by Joanneke Meester was held in the artspace of De Nederlandsche Bank.
Artis Joanneke Meester reflects on the necessity of the things that one puts on oneself and on eachother in daily life. She created the sentence ‘I am not doing anything until I feel the need’ and invited 365 artists, including me to make a personal & visual interpretation of this sentence for a calendar. This calendar confronts us daily with the mantra: ‘I am not doing anything until I feel the need’. The show gave an overview of nearly all the original works from the calendar.
The calendar can be purchased in almost every museum and bookshop in the Netherlands. It can also be ordered online via: www.bekkingblitz.com.
